Chat Rules
Please be respectful to every member.
- All of the above are frowned upon: cussing a member out, impersonation, all forms of discrimination, and arguing with other members. Arguing with staff is not allowed but a civil discussion over the matter is fine. Staff is also expected to follow this rule and keep arguments off chat if they escalate.
Minimodding is not allowed.
- The description of what minimodding basically means is someone who attempts to take the responsibilities of a Moderator or Administrator or someone who is “backseat modding” in a Moderator’s PMs. Common forms of minimodding include users having rule questions answered by other users, or users interfering in arguments when moderators are trying to manage the problem. If you are minimodding because a Staff member is not actively available, please PM them or message their Discord which is available on the website and here
18+ Content is not allowed.
- The only exception to this rule is gore within art and writing, which can be posted with a gore warning beforehand. Any forms of sexual content or suggestively NSFW content are not allowed. Our chat consists of a young audience and we’re following this rule for their protection.
Please limit what real-life information you share on chat.
- Age, first name and state or country is okay. Anything else that reveals your exact identity or overall exact location is not allowed for your protection.
Social Medias can be posted in moderation.
- All kinds of social media are allowed to be posted. However, personal (IRL) profiles such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. are not to be posted due to our previous rule. Streams can be posted as long as you inform a staff member and it’s not depicting 18+ content.
Spamming is not allowed.
- Spamming the chat out, or posting 5+ messages at once in a rapid fashion are considered spamming. Please be considerate to others.
Advertising of other chatrooms is not allowed.
Double-tabbing for the purposes of impersonation or being someone you're not is not allowed.

Regarding Art Rules
- Art must be credited if it does not belong to you.
- You cannot trace or highly reference someone’s artwork. That is called art theft.
- If we ask for proof of permission from the artist, you must give it to us. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to use the work.
- You may post your personal artwork at your own discretion. However, if we find out that someone has stolen your work within chat, we will handle it accordingly.
- We highly encourage the use of Free to Use (f2u) bases and real life cat images. Check out our page with bases for you to use!
As of November 13, 2020, the dispute of a previous ban is not allowed on open chat.
- If you believe a member was banned unjustly, please redirect them to the Ban Appeal form on our website.
- If you disagree with how we handled a situation prior, we are sorry for any poor handling of the situation but cases are closed once they're closed.
- Staff has ultimate say when it comes to a ban. In retrospect, we consider bans under a series of personal testimony, screenshots, recordings, and any other suspicions that we may falter on.
- A banned user is always welcome to share a document of their side of the story. You can email us via our contact form on our website.
These are some of the following topics denied of discussion on open chatroom:
- Discussions of weed, incest, harmful threats towards others or government entities, bombs, rape, and anything deemed unsafe. However, an educational discussion in recognizing patterns of unsafety and seeking advice is totally okay. Anything outside of an educational discussion is not allowed and if someone feels uncomfortable, we will ask you to move said discussion in private.
Bringing problematic situations into public spaces (main chat, Discord Hub, HR server, etc.) where one member is against several is not acceptable.
- If a situation arises that puts one member against several, bringing said situation into public spaces is not acceptable. Nor is it acceptable for any member or members to come after, attack, harass, or gang up on anyone else, regardless of the situation or how much a person is liked/disliked. This includes Staff as well. Doing so will result first in a warning. If it persists, then a temporary ban may be put in place for ALL members involved. If there is any concern about another member, the only acceptable method of bringing it to Staff's attention is our ticket system or DMing a Staff member directly.
